Using CutQuill
Use CutQuill only for content you own or have permission to use. Keep your account secure. Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to access someone else’s data, bypass plan limits, or use automated abuse that disrupts the service. You retain ownership of your content and allow us to process it to provide the service.
Plans and billing
Free costs nothing and does not require a card. Pro is US$9 per month or US$90 per year paid upfront, including applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically on the selected schedule until cancelled. Checkout shows your total before payment. Your plan starts after payment is confirmed by Stripe.
Allowances and limits
Free includes 3 server exports each calendar month, 500 MB of storage and 3 account backups. Pro includes 50 server exports, 30 AI actions each calendar month, 5 GB of storage and 100 account backups. Monthly allowances reset on the 1st at 00:00 UTC, including for yearly subscribers, and do not roll over. There are no automatic overage charges. Accepted jobs count even if cancelled or later failed. Each requested draft, revision, transcription, visual analysis, website capture or narrated render uses an AI action; a narrated render also uses a server export. Manual editing and browser exports do not use these allowances.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel at any time through Plan & billing → Manage subscription. Paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. Cancellation does not automatically refund the remaining time. Any rights to remedies or refunds under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law, are preserved. For billing issues or refund requests contact info@cutquill.com.
After a downgrade
You can continue to access and download existing work. If you are above the Free storage or backup allowance, remove unused items before adding more. Server exports expire after 30 days, so download the results you want to keep. Failed payments can pause Pro features until payment is resolved.
Output and availability
Finished videos can be up to 3 minutes, and native exports are up to 1080p without a CutQuill watermark. Review AI-generated edits, transcripts and narration before publishing. Availability depends on provider access and capacity; third-party websites may restrict capture. Keep a separate copy of original footage and downloaded exports. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
